FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1.) Do I need to purchase an NPC card to compete in a NPC Championship?

Yes, you’ll need to purchase an NPC card because it is a mandatory requirement to compete in any National Physique Committee (NPC) bodybuilding competition, essentially acting as proof of membership and validating your eligibility to participate in their events throughout the year; without it, you cannot register or check-in as a competition. 2025 NPC cards are $150.00 and they expire at the end of each calendar year. NOTE: AN NPC CARD REGISTRATION & THE SHOW REGISTRATION ENTRY FEE ARE TWO DIFFERENT FEES and before you register for any NPC Championship you’ll have to purchase a current year NPC Card. The NPC Card only needs to be purchased only one time per calendar year. Please visit www.npcregistration.com or you can purchase an NPC Card by clicking on the ONLINE REGISTRATION LINK below. NOTE: In addition, if you have a current NPC card you could volunteer or assist any NPC Promoter with putting on their show.

2.) Is this show for beginners and experienced athletes?

All ages starting at 18 and levels of experience are very welcome for this show. All of the divisions such as Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Physique, Fit Model and Bikini have all of the classes such as True Novice, Novice, Teen (18-19), Junior (18-23), Masters (35+ to 70+ all in 5 year increments) and the Open Class.

3.) How soon should I register for this show?

Try to register as soon as you can so you can concentrate on your training, dial in on your nutrition/meal plan and practice your presentation/posing. It’s also a commitment to yourself and following through with your goals. NOTE: On time entry deadline is on or before Friday, May 2, 2025. After this date, a late fee will apply.

4.) What does “True Novice” mean?

This class is strictly for beginners who have never competed in any show what so ever. All Divisions in the NPC will have a True Novice Class for beginners. This class is an excellent place to start and is highly recommended.

5.) How do I know what Division to compete in?

A qualified trainer or coach could assess your physique in person and/or pictures and guide you in the right direction. You could also visit www.NPCnewsonline.com and view pictures and read a full description of physique requirements and rules regarding that particular Division.

6.) If I’m 54 and I registered myself for the 50+ Masters Class in the Bikini Division, can I also compete or crossover in the 45+, 40+ and 35+ Bikini Masters Class?

Yes, whatever division your in, you can enter all Masters Classes below your age.

7.) How soon do I need to reserve a room at one of the host hotels to get the group discount?

With any Host Hotel “GROUP BLOCK” there is a cut-off date of 3-4 weeks prior to the show date. By reserving early you’ll receive the “GROUP DISCOUNT” and you won’t have to worry about finding a room a few days before your show. NOTE: The two HOST HOTELS that are reserved for this show sell out fast.

8.) If I enter the “NEW” Fit Model Division can I also crossover into the Bikini Division?

This is the only Division that you cannot crossover into another Division such as Bikini, Fitness, Figure, Wellness, Women’s Physique or Bodybuilding. However you can crossover within your Division. Example: Let’s say you are new and never competed before so you can register for the True Novice, Novice, Masters (depending on your age) and the Open Class all within the same Division.
